Customers Invited To Learn About Upcoming Amtrak Repairs Temporarily Diverting Select NJT MoBo Midtown Direct Trains

NJ TRANSIT TO PARTCIPATE IN CUSTOMER INFORMATION SESSION IN MONTCLAIR

In advance of upcoming Amtrak track work at Penn Station New York this summer and the resulting service adjustments, NJ TRANSIT Executive Director Kevin Corbett and members of the Executive Management Team will participate in an information session hosted by Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill in Montclair on Wednesday, May 29th at 6:30 p.m.

This information session gives customers the opportunity to speak directly to NJ TRANSIT’s Executive Director and senior level staff. Customers are encouraged to stop by with any questions they may have about the temporary service changes happening this summer.

NJ TRANSIT must implement service changes weekdays only between Monday, June 17th and Friday, September 6th. NJ TRANSIT will be temporarily diverting select Midtown Direct rail service on the Montclair-Boonton Line and one North Jersey Coast Line train to Hoboken, in order to accommodate vital Amtrak repair work that will take two tracks at Penn Station New York (PSNY) out of service.
